Anyone know a fast easy way to add volume to fine thin hair?

I've tried sleeping in rollers but that's too uncomfortable, not to mention not that sexy, and I don't have time to use a curling iron to curl each piece. I'm not that well versed in beauty tips, so I was hoping someone else with this problem has already solved it! Thanks:-P

im a hairstylist with the same hair type. my solution is this; accept that its straight hair and dont expect it to be different, but you can achieve volume by adding a volumizer type gel to the base of your scalp after youve washed and conditioned very lightly, then blow dry your hair on the hot setting of your dryer and use a large round brush with a metal base, first just blow the hair all over till its just damp, then start with the round brush rolling the hair on to the base of your scalp and hold it there with the heat of the dryer for a while, then hit the cool shot button on the dryer, hold it there for about 45 seconds then unroll your brush and do that all the way around your head, when your finished just lightly run your finger tips through it and spray lightly with a hairspray, this should give your hair the maximum volume possible, if done correctly. hopefully i explained it clearly enough. good luck!

You may need extentions to thicken it. There is nothing that you can add to your scalp to change it in way of products.

There is plenty you can do about it. One suggestion is a thickening creme. A good one is by Sunsilk in the orange bottle. It truly does work!

There are lots of reviews for thickening and volumizing products at http://www.makeupalley.com. Alot of the women there have the same problem and give excellent information on products they have tried that actually work! There is a system where they rate the product and the one with the highest percentage is usually the one that works best that got the most positive reviews for its effectiveness.

Try blowdrying your hair upside down. It sounds weird, but it really works for added volume.
