Does dying your hair make it thinner or fall out...?

my dad keeps on making fun of me telling me that my hair is getting thinner everyday because i change the color every couple of months.

but i don't think it looks any thinner. :/

and also, he just doesn't like it when i dye my hair which makes me think he's just trying to get me to stop.

please help...?

i dont think it makes it thinner, but its not that healthy to dye your hair that much, it ruins your hair
