i know, this is probably a stupid question. but some people say it makes it look thicker, and some say it makes it look thinner, and now i'm confused.

MY OPINON IS WITH MY HAIR, IT MADE IT LOOK THICKER AND HEALTHIER, BUT MADE IT FEEL SOFTER AND THINNER. I THINK IT VARIES FROM PERSON TO PERSON

haha, i can see it both ways babe. layers can give you more BODY, making it seem thicker, but they also take of a lot or bulk, making your hair seem thiner. layers are great though, i love em.

Layers will make your hair look thicker. It depends on what you u r trying to achieve. The more layers the fuller, that is if your hair is thin. If you have a thick head of hair then you only want a few layers. If our hair is thick by nature then don't get it cut too short or it will just poof out.
