Hair Help?

is there anyway to make naturally curly hair straight? Also is there a way to thin out hair?

Hair Help?

sounds like you have my hair!!!

i use about a dime size amount of a product called "CHI-silk infusion" and smooth throughout dry hair.

next use a clip to pin up all but the underneath layer of hair and straighten one section at a time using a flat iron on high heat. then once that is smooth, let down more...etc, until you have gone through your entire head of hair.

as far as thinning it out, ask your stylist if they can use a thinning shears on your underneath layers....this should take out quite a bit of bulk!!

There is a straightener in a box that you can get at a store. Or you could use a hair straightener also bought at store. And as for thinning you can get your hair flossed which is you keep your lenth or you hair but you have threads of it cut about mid point of the hair.

You could get it japanese straightened. It's done at a salon so you should ask your stylist more about it. It costs about 400-700 dollars .

Hair Help?

Yes and yes. For the straightening part, you can use a hair straightener, but it's only temporary (until your hair gets wet or whatever)...but there are chemical treatments that can make your hair straight for months at a time. A hairdresser would know more about this.

And yes, when you get a haircut, the hairdresser can me your hair thinner...or you can just get it layered and have a bit of a thinning effect (this is what I have since I have very thick and curly black hair).
